Privacy policy
You don't need an account to use this site, and we don't ask for your name, address or email.
What we collect
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't track you across other websites. We see totals, such as how many people viewed a town page, not who you are.
When you type a ZIP code or town into the search box, the lookup happens in your browser. We don't store what you search for.
The softener calculator runs entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter aren't sent to us.
Services that load on our pages
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Our font is loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers to download it. Like any web server, these services can see your IP address when your browser requests a file.
Links to other sites
We link to utility water quality reports, government agencies and product pages. When you follow those links, the other site's privacy policy applies. Some product links are affiliate links; see our affiliate disclosure.
If you email us
If you write to us, for example to report an error, we use your email only to reply and to fix the problem. We don't add you to a mailing list.
